Remember This?

Remember this….the wicker trunk I picked up at an estate sale this past summer?    No?  Well…..it did get pushed to the bottom of my things to do list and has sat in the corner of my living room, waiting patiently for me to do something with it.  The trunk was in great shape but the colors were pretty drab….and I wasn’t so fond of the orange flowers on the front.  Nothing against orange flowers mind you ~ just not what I was looking for.   On top of that….the lining was less than desirable…..

It was a weird plastic type stuff…….and kind of grungy…..so I pulled all of that out.  I had a vision of what I wanted the this chest to look like.  Here is the first step towards that vision…..
