When frustrated….lighten up

I took some photographs yesterday and was going to post them today.  I came home, selected the images I wanted to process and proceeded to work on them.  It wasn’t working ~ I wasn’t happy with the results so I had to scrub that idea.  I walked away from the computer.  Then I got the idea I would revisit this day last year and re-process some images I had taken ~  like I did earlier last month….except I didn’t take any photographs on September 14, 2009.  I took photos on the 13th and the 15th….nothing on the 14th.   😐

Back to the drawing board, I selected an image from the September 15th to reprocess, except this time I’m going to show you before and after.    This image taken with my Canon Point and Shoot was from the ivy geranium my mother had last year….beautiful little flowers but I wanted a different look. 

I desaturated the entire photo, added a cloud like fill and then brought back some color.  This was my final result….kind of dreamy ~ what do you think?
