I love this shot because not only is it old (everyone always looks more elegant in old photos, is it black & white? Is it the hair?) but it is obvious the picture she wasn’t ready for, and there is something special about that.
Always I know that quote from that book, and that book always creeped me out in the end, when the mother is climbing through her grown son’s window to till him she loved him forever!! (Or am I remembering that wrong, I’m pretty sure their was some creepy part like that)
