Once Upon A Time

I remember when fast food restaurants were rare….

….and they had drive up ordering.

The car hop would bring your food out on a tray…

….sometimes on skates.

The tray had hooks on the bottom which

they would hang on the partially rolled up window….usually on the drivers door.

You sat in the car and ate the most amazing burgers….

and thick french fries…

….ice cold Coca Cola….

….and shakes that you could barely suck through the straw.

It just isn’t the same now.
