Outside My Window ~ 4.3.11

Outside My Window…is dark and with some high clouds.  The temperature at 8:30 is currently 59° with little to no chance of rain.  Oh…and this happens to be the weather at my parents house in Catawba, South Carolina where I am currently relaxing.  8) 

 I am thinking…that because I am in the midst of relaxing time, this will be short and sweet tonight.

I am glad…I am able to travel and spend time with my parents.

From my kitchen…is not a thing at the moment, but I will leave this paragraph in future postings and highlight a different recipe I have tried or discovered.

I am currently working on…lowering my blood pressure, clearing the cobwebs out of my mind and relaxing.  So far…so good.  🙂

I am going…to Asheville, North Carolina tomorrow morning…but first we will be taking a short detour by way of the Looking Glass Falls, the Cradle of Forestry and a ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Once in Asheville, we are going to visit the Biltmore Estate.  I can’t decide if I’m more excited to see the estate or to be in the mountains once again!

I am currently reading…maps and travel information.

I am hoping…that we have good weather for our trip.  They are forecasting thunderstorms but that won’t be until later Monday night.   I’ve got two, large empty memory cards to go in my camera and my tripod…..I’m ready!  🙂

I am hearing…the soft hum of the ceiling fan in my room…an otherwise quiet house.

Plans for the week include…our trip tomorrow and Tuesday, enjoying the company as much as I can and finally a trip back home.

One of life’s little pleasures…is relaxing time…time spent with loved ones…time away from work for even a little while.

From my camera…
