Oleander

I’m still trying to free up some space on my hard drives….a tedious task.  Could by why I have put it off until I “must” do it.  I took a lot of photographs this afternoon at my mom’s house….and then it dawned on me that I really can’t download them until I get some files moves around.  Sigh.  😐

On the bright side….I ran across this image.   It was after the storm that wasn’t a named tropical storm but probably should have been while I was in Florida. While walking around after the storm, I found a small branch of an oleander tree on the pier near their house….a victim of the storm….and it was loaded with seed pods.  I brought that branch home with me and hung it up to dry, and dry it did.  One day I noticed the seed pods had split open and the light, fluffy seeds were waiting for a breeze to take them to destinations unknown.  Except this was in my bedroom and no breezes to take them away ~ only me tucking the seeds away for another day.
