Outside My Window

Outside My Window ~ 5.20.12

Outside my window….is dark and working its way to midnight….getting past my bedtime actually but I didn’t want another week to go by without a post.  After an extremely busy week last week, it looks as if this week will be a little better….not much, but a little better.  🙂   Right now we are at 64°F with light rain and wind.  Wind has been a constant companion pretty much the entire weekend but today was the first day with rain.  The chance of rain continues on into tomorrow as well.   We don’t expect to see any ill effects from the tropical storm (not sure if it still is now though) off the coast of South Carolina/Georgia.  The formation of this storm was definitely one for the record books…and a half month prior to the official start of the hurricane season.  I’m hoping this isn’t an indicator of what is to come.

I am glad…that another prom season is out of the way….but at the same time sad because it will be my last one as well.

I am going…to get my car in the shop sometime soon…..looks as if my air conditioning (or the unit that operates it) has gone out.  I took it to the shop on Saturday and because it is a climate control system, they could not help me.  I have to take it to the dealership.  Sigh….always something.  It also makes me wonder….has an auto air conditioning system ever gone on at the end of the season rather than at the beginning?  😐

I am hearing…the ticking of my many clocks….my wind chimes singing to me….Transformer’s on television.

Plans for the week include…working from home on Tuesday….making an appointment at the dealership….previewing images of a sweet little girl with her mom and dad on Saturday….working on the senior session images I took this past Saturday.  Yep, going to be another busy week I believe.

One of life’s little pleasures…watching your baby girl leave for her prom and remembering it wasn’t that long ago you watched her off for the first day of school….now she is close to graduating.  Again…happy and sad emotions.  And yes, there will be photographs ~ very soon.  🙂

From my camera…an antique auto car show on the Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg this past week gave me the opportunity to get a few unique photographs….who else thinks they should bring back hood ornaments?  🙂
