Outside My Window ~ 5.27.2012

Outside my window…is nearing the end of another Sunday….another Sunday that found me working away until I realized what time it was.  I have been editing photos this evening until my eyes are crossing so thought it would be a perfect time to do my weekly post….although I didn’t plan on waiting so late in the evening to do so.  We have been enjoying a fabulous Memorial Day weekend thus far….blue skies and sunshine.  The forecast has brought all the folks that are anxious to celebrate the unofficial start of summer to our region….en mass….and people who live in the Hampton Roads area know that traveling will be a challenge on the weekends until Labor Day.  Currently we are at 77°F and mostly cloudy….chance of rain is small but it is quite humid at 79%.  Tomorrow will be quite warm with partly cloudy skies and 88°F….should be excellent beach weather.  Early tomorrow morning we will be going to Yorktown beach for Cailin’s photo session….something we have been trying to do all weekend.  After checking out the weather I have decided that we will be going  very early…to beat the heat and to beat the crowds.

I am thinking…I have gone from one extreme to another as far as posting.  I went from each day to barely one per week…..need to find a better balance I do believe.  I’m not quite sure where all the time is going…..my real job is getting in the way of the other stuff I want and need to do.  🙂

I am going…to begin to work on the June calendars in the next day or so….will hopefully have three {maybe four} this time.

I am hearing…the ticking of my many clocks….an episode of Friends on television….and not much else because it is quite late.

A recap of last week…was just the one post ~ I had to add another little sneak peak for the parents of the baby girl I photographed recent.  Again….I’m going to try a find a happy medium with posting so there is a little more each week.

Plans for the week include…working from home on Tuesday….try to schedule an appointment so I can take my car in to check out the blower on the air conditioning unit ~ still haven’t had the chance to get it up there but with it heating up, I need to see what I can do soon….purchasing a new tire for Cailin’s vehicle ~ yes, two vehicles needing something at once….finishing up the images from my recent senior session and photographing another senior Tuesday evening and then beginning to work on those images….delivering two different sets of customized senior announcements I created that are due to arrive on Tuesday.

One of life’s little pleasures…are three day weekends that equal one of my favorite things….relaxing time.  Except I have a lot to do so the day off won’t be so relaxing.  😐
