Outside My Window ~ 11.11.2012

Outside my window…is the closing hours on a fabulous weekend in Southeast Virginia.  You couldn’t ask for two better days this weekend ~ blue skies, sunshine and mild temperatures.  We are expecting rain by Tuesday and more seasonal temperatures.  At 10:00 this evening it is 57°F with clear skies and little to no wind.  Temperatures are suppose to stay around the mid 50’s all night and back up into the low 70’s tomorrow.

I am thinking…those folks in the Northeast have probably had enough weather for a long while.  On top of the weather woes they have to deal with long lines for gas….if they can find any.  I imagine it must be like some kind of nightmare they can’t wake up from.

I am glad…I was able to get enough done this evening so I could sit down and watch the new episode of The Walking Dead.  I’m officially hooked on this show if there was any doubt…and it has not disappointed so far this season!

I am going…to make this a little shorter than normal this evening.  The hour is a bit late and I want to turn in a little earlier than usual….not sure why I’m so tired, but I am.

I am hoping…that my missing bread recipe book comes out of its hiding place in the next couple of days.  One of those situations where I moved it to a “better” location….except I can’t remember where that “better” location would be right now.  Heavy Sigh.

I am hearing…the ticking of my many clocks….Turbo on the couch, snoring like an old man….a commercial on television.

A recap of last week…is a short but special one, wishing my dad a happy birthday.

Plans for the week include…working from home on Tuesday….a visit from Verizon to finish burying the cable from the FIOS they installed at the end of the summer {a gentle reminder was necessary}….getting the house rearranged and together so I can put the Christmas tree up during the Thanksgiving holiday.

One of life’s little pleasures…is spending some time with my daughter while running errands together.
