An Old Friend

This is a photograph of a puzzle my oldest daughter put together for me years ago.  After she assembled it, my mother painted it with a substance that keeps puzzles together.  This has sat on my dresser since it was dry enough for me to take home.  She picked this particular puzzle because even at a very young age, she knew I would love it.  I have been a Wizard of Oz fan for as long as I can remember….it is one of my favorite movies of all time.  Each year whenever it was on television, that is where you would find me…traveling with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and Toto too.  Tonight I’m somewhere over the rainbow and spending time with my old friend again…..it keeps me forever young.
