Soaring

Bull
During my walk through Colonial Williamsburg on Tuesday, I came upon this guy. I was actually taking some photographs a little way down the street from him. It seemed as soon as he saw me, he began to mooooooo again and again…..or is it considered mooing if it is a bull? Anyway, on and on he went until I crossed the street and walked up closer. Then he stopped….I almost got the impression he wanted me to pet him. I know these animals are exposed to a lot of people on a daily basis. There are tourists here year round…..but I wasn’t so comfortable with the idea of getting my…

Deception
Deception = misrepresentation: a misleading falsehood I discovered today that someone I was very close to….a friend for many, many years….had been misleading me about several things this past year or more. An individual I trusted without hesitation….someone I thought was one of the most sincerest of people, honest through and through. I would have never, ever expected this person to lie to me….to mislead me. They were my confidant…my rock. As a result of this deception, I have spoken and thought badly of another individual…someone who was undeserving I’m sure. My friend revealed this deception in an email today…..said we can no longer communicate…goodbye….good luck….the end. An almost 30 year friendship….over. …

Dinner and a Movie
Tonight I wasn’t up for cooking so we all decided on pizza. We also thought it would be a great night to watch a movie I picked up not too long ago. If you like psychological thrillers ~ you need to check out “The Uninvited”.

I Miss Flowers
This flower image is one I took with my point and shoot last May. It is from my aunt’s amazing garden at her home in North Carolina. It is much larger than my outstretched hand ~ and I have big hands! I took some photos Wednesday afternoon with my new camera and wasn’t happy with any of the shots. As I was trying to decide what I wanted to post, I ran across this image and couldn’t help but think….I miss flowers. I’m really looking forward to spring.

A Couple More…
Are you tired of the bird shots yet? I have a couple of more practice shots I took Tuesday afternoon…..again with the 55 -250 lens…. Again, through the sliding glass door ~ it is a little too chilly to sit outside quietly and wait for them to come….but I can’t wait for Spring and Summer!! 🙂

Practice
I’m having fun playing with the new camera. I had some visitors after I filled the bird feeders on Sunday. I took these through the sliding glass door so they are not as clear as they could be if I was outside. I was practicing with my 55-250 lens… If you look at the left hand of this next photo, you can see another bird ~ mouth wide open! I didn’t even realize that bird was there until I processed this photo, I was concentrating on the other. I almost cut the second bird off with the edge of the door…… It has been a long time since I used something other than a point and shoot…..a…
