Wind Chimes
I love wind chimes…..all sizes…..all kinds. I have a small collection of wind chimes ~ three large ones outside, two large and two small inside. This is one of my small ones ~ a very small one. It may be small, but I love the unique design.

Brrrrr Chilly
It was bone chilling cold again today…currently it is 21°F. The winds today only added to the cold ~ they were quite strong. I don’t think it got above freezing today. I know a lot of places are colder, but our average for this time of year is 51°F…..and I’m cold! 😐

First Snow
We had our first snow today…not so much, maybe an inch or two. It didn’t stick on the roadways ~ which is perfectly fine with me ~ but it did decorate the bushes and trees. It was dark when I got home this evening so I wasn’t able to get a photograph of the dainty little flakes ~ instead I’m sharing my snow family with you.

Better But Cold!
I’m feeling better each day….still very croaky and my throat is a little rough… And a cough that won’t go away…. my supervisor mentioned it sounded like bronchitis today. Jeez….I hope not. We are downright frosty here lately….no snow but COLD! The sparkly texture on the above image is compliments of Isabelle LaFrance.

Remembering The USS Arizona
Just a little over 31 one years ago, I bid farewell to my then boyfriend in Denver and joined my step mother on a trip of a lifetime. We were going to Hawaii together and I was out of my mind excited! The flight was long…I seriously was ready to get off the plane about halfway there. 🙂 It was wonderful…and today I remembered that trip. I remember….. the heat and humidity compared to the 20 plus inches of snow I had left in Denver after a freak Thanksgiving blizzard which almost caused me to miss my flight for the first part of my trip to my parents… how lush the…

Disappointed Tonight
Tonight was our city’s annual tree lighting celebration, HollyDazzle. They have school children singing carols, street vendors, lots of people laughing, talking and visiting while they wait for the fireworks and the tree lighting. Sadly, my hope to feel better last night didn’t pan out ~ I actually felt worse when I woke up this morning. 🙁 I called in to work while I stayed in bed the entire day and most of the evening so far. I’m sitting here now listening to the fireworks go off in the distance. Soon I will be getting ready to crawl back into my bed, starting to feel rough again. I had planned to attend with my sister this evening…
