A Little More Progress
Remember this…my work in progress… There has been a little progress…my project sitting on top of the yarn in one of my little Ikea baskets. I guess I could have tidied up the yarn a bit before I took this. 😐 Moving right along….although I would have had a little more completed if I didn’t have to pull a few rows out. It is what happens when you try and crochet late at night when you are sleepy. 🙂

Outside My Window ~ 4.15.2012
Outside my window…is dark and fairly late. It is about 10:40 in the evening after a very warm day today. Currently we are at 73°F with a forecast low of 63°F. Tomorrow is going to feel like August with a high of 86°F…yes, 86°F! Sunshine and wind will accompany those extremely high temperatures. I wonder if that will set a record….seems awful warm for the middle of April. Tuesday has a forecast of 80°F with sunshine. Our high this time of year is typically around 68°F. I’m not so excited about weather this warm this early. Fortunately it will dip back down into the 60’s on Wednesday with a chance…

Waiting For Flowers
I’m looking forward to a garden full of these. 🙂

Last One
Well, it appears that I not only double backed up some things…but tripled or even quadrupled backups ~ and I’m just dealing with one external and my internal hard drive, haven’t even looked at the other external hard drive. 😐 I guess I wanted to be sure I backed things up….obsessively sure apparently. The thing….I don’t remember saving some of the stuff I’m discovering. I’m using a few of these to help me in my quest…. Groan…this is going to take forever…but this will be my last rant about my mess.

Oleander
I’m still trying to free up some space on my hard drives….a tedious task. Could by why I have put it off until I “must” do it. I took a lot of photographs this afternoon at my mom’s house….and then it dawned on me that I really can’t download them until I get some files moves around. Sigh. 😐 On the bright side….I ran across this image. It was after the storm that wasn’t a named tropical storm but probably should have been while I was in Florida. While walking around after the storm, I found a small branch of an oleander tree on the pier near their house….a victim…

Cleaning house….so to say…
The red lines have appeared…time to clean house. Photographs use a large portion of the hard drives…all three of them. It is a disheartening to delete or move around a bunch of things only to see a small amount of space free up. Sigh….I fear this will be taking quite a bit of my time….I would much rather work on images and designs. 😐

Certifiable….
…but not mentally. Well, maybe I could be that too…but in this instance I’m talking about my quest to become a Certified Professional Photographer. I will be required to pass a comprehensive written exam that will measure my technical expertise. I will also have to submit my work to a panel of judges for review and approval ~ gulp! 😯 I have taken the first step to obtaining the certification by obtaining the suggested textbook I need to study for the written exam. They don’t just ask about apertures and shutter speeds….you need to know much more than that. I was fortunate to find a used copy online at an…
