Working
I have spent most of the afternoon working on different things. The morning was shot for the most part after I woke up about 3:00 a.m. with a migraine…at the time it felt like a world ending one too. Medication was taken and to ensure total darkness my lavender/calendula eye pillow was placed over my eyes as I waited for it to pass…which it did….and the world didn’t end. 🙂 After one of these, my day is generally low key. Pop’s Milestone
On November 5th of last year, my stepfather went into the kitchen for a snack. Unfortunately that snack attack wasn’t without a price….while in the kitchen he lost his balance, fell and fractured his hip. He was taken to the hospital but the fix wasn’t as simple as one would think. Pop was diagnosed with emphysema several years and he had been getting progressively worse this last year….surgery to replace the hip was out of the question, there was no way he would survive being put under. It was fortunate they were able to repair the fracture however the trauma of the fall, being hospitalized and staying in rehab a…

Recovering
It was my intent to publish Outside My Window this evening….but to be honest, my mouth hurts and I just don’t want to do it right now. On the plus side, this was the last visit to the dentist for any major work….the permanent crowns and bridge are set in place. Words of wisdom to the young folks out there….take good care of your teeth and floss, floss, floss….it will save you dollars and pain later in life. I have been experimenting with the new camera but due to illness, weather and a plethora of other things that seem to come along lately, I haven’t been able to get out…

Time For A Change
Once again, Outside My Window is being delayed by a day….something that seems to happen more frequently than I like lately. There was a time when that post would be one of the first things I did on a Sunday…..now it has been pushed back to the last thing I do ~ and that isn’t working.
