    Fallen

Update: I remembered I had not listed the links for this composite.  You can now find them below the post. I finished my composite…well, finished as much as I’m doing this evening.  I may do some more another day.  I saw something similar on deviantART and wanted to give it a try myself ~ no tutorial this time, all free hand.  🙂  The image, along with the models hair color, actually reminded me of a character from a television show I like to watch, Supernatural.  The character’s name was Anna, at first is thought to be a prophet…turns out she is a fallen angel. I am unable to provide the…

    Indian River ~ Florida

The final images from my trip to Florida earlier this month. One last look at the Atlantic then on to the river. After spending some time at the beach and shopping, we made our way back to the house in time to walk to one of the piers not to far from my parents house.  I wanted to watch the sunset over the Indian River. We weren’t the first ones there…. According to a local, he is here every night at sunset…waiting…. …watching…. …enjoying the show with the rest of us.  🙂 While we wait…a view to the South of us…a storm appears to be building here and to our…

    Not tonight…

I know I said more Melbourne Beach photos today…except not tonight.  I am past tired this evening…and not even sure why.  Oh well…..in the next couple of days I will share more photographs with you.  For this evening….I love how my oldest looks so tiny in comparison to the Atlantic Ocean and never ending blue sky.  I titled this image “In Awe”.

A few more from the plane…

I know…get on to the good stuff….but first you have to tolerate a few more from the plane trip to Florida.  🙂  I enjoyed photographing from the plane this trip ~ probably because it was digital rather than film.  When I would travel during the days of film, I would snap a photograph here and there from the plane…but not too many because they were typically risky shots.  You were shooting through a fairly dirty window to begin with and the lighting can be tricky at times.  This time, I was digital and I could delete the ones that didn’t make the cut.  You can still see some window grime in some of these images, but these were…

    Outside My Window ~ 10.16.2011

Outside my window…is a beautiful fall morning.  It is close to 11:00 this morning and we have blue skies, sunshine and a mild temperature of 64°F.  Our forecast high today is 75°F with zero chance of rain.  A vastly different forecast than I experienced last Sunday while in Florida.  For those who aren’t up on current events, last Sunday I was in Melbourne Beach, Florida were we experienced tropical temperatures along with some howling wind and torrential downpours during the system with no name that moved inland.  Quite a ride…but it had all cleared out by Monday morning and we were able to enjoy a little bit of time in…

    My Second Choice

Yesterday I posted my entry for Storms in the Community Photo Challenge. This was my second choice.  I took this one around 2:00 Monday afternoon, earlier than the one I submitted.  This is the roof of the building I work in.   I don’t  work upstairs in this area….the offices have high ceilings and the desks sit well below the windows, which surround the entire top of the building.  Nice offices, lots of light…even a little secret passage.  But it is also hotter than hell in the summer and frosty in the winter….makes me appreciate my little space with only two windows that much more.  🙂
