Outside My Window ~ 6.17.2012
Outside my window…is the closing hours on the final Sunday for Spring 2012. According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac the Summer Solstice will occur on June 20, 2012 at 7:09 p.m.. Next week the view will change outside my window…summer is here. It is almost 6:00 in the evening in Hampton Roads….the sky is mostly cloudy but there are snippets of blue sky and sunshine…and the temperature right now is about 70°F. There is very little chance of rain tonight and for the most part the clouds that are out right now are white and fluffy. It has been a mild and breezy weekend….my wind chimes sang plenty of songs…

Outside My Window ~ 6.20.10
Outside My Window…is sunshine and heat. Our temperature at 8:15 this morning is 79ºF but feels like 83ºF. The forecast high is 94ºF for today with plenty of sunshine. Our average for this time of year is 82ºF. It is once again quite muggy outside so unless you are sitting on a beach, you are going to be fairly miserable with this heat. While the beach sometimes offers you nice breezes….that may not be the case today since the winds are from the southwest and are pretty non-existent. Outside My Window ~ 6.21.09
Outside My Window…is a partly cloudy, windy and 83 degree day. This is a big improvement over yesterday’s 96 degrees. It was quite hot and miserable yesterday. I ventured outside for my run early in the morning, back out to get some neighborhood photos for the blog and then I was pretty much an indoor kitty yesterday! 🙂 I am thinking…about how quickly this year has gone by. Is it me or has this year just flown by so far? It doesn’t seem like spring was that long ago much less the first day of summer already.
