Another Free Desktop Calendar For April
I decided I needed another free desktop calendar…one with a more masculine theme and what is more masculine than creatures. Trust me, this was taken with a zoom, I wasn’t this close…..I don’t know if these creatures jump and I would have really freaked if it had jumped on me. 🙂 I was taking several shots of this gecko sunning himself when he changed positions, did his little push-up dance and out came the bright red pouch. Outside My Window ~ 3.18.2012
Outside my window…I’m waking up to a cool 54°F morning. It is about 9:30 with cloudy skies that are suppose to clear off later this morning. Our high today is an expected 67°, cooler than the past few days when we were hitting the high 70’s, low 80’s. After checking out the weather for the coming week, it looks as if we are going to stay in the mid 50’s at night and low 70’s during the day for the next five days. I can live with that. I generally don’t change the image to this post until the actual season starts…but since spring will happen on Tuesday and using…

Happy Dancing All Around
This weekend I am enrolled in a photography instructional course presented by creativeLIVE ~ the Posing Masterclass with Bambi Cantrell. Volumes of information so far…some things I am already doing…some things I am learning to do….some things I never realized were so important but actually make a world of difference. During the morning session she mentioned she would be critiquing photographs submitted to the Flickr group created for that purpose after the lunch break. As a photographer for over 25 years and a judge in photographic competitions, I knew she knew what she was doing…and I was a little hesitant to submit anything. I mean, would my work hold up…

Outside My Window ~ 3.4.2012
Outside my window…is setting up to be a frosty evening. Currently we are at 38°F, a low of 33°F is forecast for tonight. We have had not quite an inch of rain in the last 24 hours and the ground is quite wet. There is a chance of rain and snow in the morning…and then turning to rain later in the afternoon. That sounds nice and messy doesn’t it? We will reach about 45°F tomorrow….27°F tomorrow night….and a high of 68°F by Wednesday. Mighty peculiar weather we are having lately. We were fortunate and avoided severe weather this past weekend…although it did rain a good deal Saturday and Sunday. Until…

Something New
I was notified my Photography page on Facebook will have the timeline design by the end of March… …so I made a cover photograph this evening. The composite is going to take longer than I thought….a lot longer. 🙂 I will be able to interchange the images every so often. Here is a look at the cover photograph…. ….now go check out the page. 🙂

Working
I have spent most of the afternoon working on different things. The morning was shot for the most part after I woke up about 3:00 a.m. with a migraine…at the time it felt like a world ending one too. Medication was taken and to ensure total darkness my lavender/calendula eye pillow was placed over my eyes as I waited for it to pass…which it did….and the world didn’t end. 🙂 After one of these, my day is generally low key.
