Outside My Window…is a beautiful morning with blue skies and no clouds in sight. The temps now are at about 68F at 9:45 a.m. When I walked out the door this morning at 6:15, it was around 61F and dark. I was off to Buckroe Beach this morning to renew my spirit and take some sunrise photos. When I arrived, it was at that moment in the morning when it is neither dark nor light…..that morning twilight period. Beautiful. Outside My Window…are the remnants of a morning shower. I woke up to rain, which allowed me to roll over and sleep a bit longer. It is 72F at 10:30 this morning. I believe we are finished with the rain showers and will spend the rest of the day under cloudy skies. Temperatures have been unseasonably cool the last few days, but we will get up to the 80’s today and tomorrow. Temps will then drop back down to the low 70’s for the remainder of the week with sunshine. If all goes as forecasted, we should have a very nice week. I have noticed some of the trees are…

Outside My Window ~ 5.31.2009
Outside My Window…is cloudy at the moment. The sun was peaking through earlier during my run but it appears as if the clouds have taken over for the most part now. Our forecast is for scattered thunderstorms today. I am thinking…about how relieved I am to finally finish all the major work in the flower beds this year. Now I just need to control the weeds, and I’m good to go. I worked outside yesterday (see my earlier blog post for photos) on some weeding maintenance in the corner garden where I removed the stump earlier this spring, and trying to get rid of some decorative grass that my neighbor…

Whew…..success!
You may be confused by the title, but I was very relieved last night when it came time to take the Lavender Dreams soap I made on Sunday from the mold. You see, I changed up the soap a bit this time…….previously Lavender Dreams was scented solely with lavender essential oils. This time, I scented the soap with the same essential oil combination as I do the cream and lotion of the same name. I’m keeping my earlier version, changing the name to Simply Lavender. Outside My Window Today ~ 3.22.09
Outside My Window…Sunny and cool…..not a cloud in the sky! But looks can be deceiving….it is still not quite warm enough to bring folks out for gardening and car washing. I need to be doing both but not when it is only 45 degrees outside! I am thinking…about all the chores I need to be doing. Laundry, cleaning, soap making……work, work, work when all I want to do is relax, relax, relax. Unfortunately when I’m done here I will need to get myself moving but for now……relaxation! 🙂 I am thankful for…the remote computer access from work and a job that allows me to work from home whenever I want…
