That Was Quick

Clouds were building all afternoon and into the evening….no rain as of yet.  I stopped by the boat docks to get a couple of photos on my way home.  I’m posting this at home this evening.  The most amazing thing happened when I got up this morning.  I thought I would check the phone line, you know ~ just in case by some off chance it was working again and low and behold, it was!  The beautiful sound of dial tone burring in my ears.   

So I have to wonder ~ did Verizon fix the problem….or did it fix itself?  The last I heard was June 3rd……no call to check to see if all was well, no text message….a mystery to me.  I think I will call them tomorrow to make sure they don’t send someone out and then charge me when they find all is well.  They really should tweak that computer though ~ it is a bit off on the estimates.  I can imagine the folks ready to burst a vein after calling in….it can’t be good for customer service. 

Another surprise this morning……the red and black lily I bought last year is blooming.  I had planted them in pots and they really didn’t grow all that much so last fall I moved them to the garden, in front of the area where I plant the sunflowers.  They really took off this year and the first bloom opened this morning.  And now I’m realizing I’m getting excited about a flower blooming ~ *sigh* ~ I ask, can it get any more exciting around here?  🙂
