Down On The Farm
I think I have mentioned my new rain barrel once or twice right? 🙂 Well the class to build this wonder was held at Bluebird Gap Farm in Hampton, Virginia. They had some every day farm critters so after our rain barrel adventure, I took my camera and snapped a few.
The white peacock, before showtime…….
you saw the after, but just in case you missed it….
He, or she, calmly stepped off the stump….walked up to where I was standing and viola! And modeled, twirling several times before they let out this bizarre type call, folded the feathers back into place and walked back to the stump. Kind of surreal actually….but so glad I was there for the show.
I like chickens….I always have, ever since I was a kid.
This little one came running up to the fence when I approached….
almost as if to say “hi, how are ya…how ya been?”
In my world, chickens talk. 🙂
This golden girl came from across the barnyard to say hello.
The other cows weren’t very interested in visitors,
but this one wanted to see what was going on I suppose.
Dude! This llama seemed to be sporting dreadlocks.
This goat refused to look….ever!
But I liked this shot.
And baby goats….
Did you know the pupils of a goat are like dashes?
They are so cute…but their eyes kind of creep me out.
