That sounds like a nice project to do.
I’m not sure if you could go cucumbers in a pot, but I don’t see why you couldn’t. Just make sure you have a trellis for them to climb up. It’s way too hot for cucumbers in the south though now, I say this on my own experience, and I am not expert and could be proved wrong lol
I just did a search on: growing cucumbers in a container and it sure looks like you can !
I don’t do percentages on the humidity level anymore, because as we all know in the South, when it’s humid, it’s humid. I looked the other day and it say 25% humidity, I had to laugh and gasp at the same time. It felt like 100% humidity and it will feel that way all summer and halfway through fall.
Your pictures are lovely and I had to laugh at your little possum and you screaming. And the mention of bears lounging in your back yard. That would be cute if they were tame!

Thanks Sandy….I may have to check out the cucumber info. I’m not sure if I have a suitable area to grow them though.
