Gardens

Wednesday

I love this plant….so full, so lush and green.

And the flowers make me smile.

This is what the drought has done to it.

I came home from work recently…it was wilted and withered from the heat.

I watered but it wasn’t time to save the leaves that were on it ~ they shriveled and died.

The plant seems to be surviving and perhaps even coming back.

I’m officially not a fan of droughts.

It is a beautiful photo ~ I only wish it was mine!! It was the image that came with the theme….I think I will leave it for a bit though ~ maybe until I can get something similar. 🙂

I didnt recognise the second photo at first. I thought it was an exotic bamboo…?!

It is a little trouper trying to grow again. Although it won’t look the same shape I am sure it will be beautiful. Perseverance through hard times. Not such a bad example to have in your life…

This flower does give me some inspiration….it was quite sad looking for a bit and I was about to pull it up when I noticed the greenery on it and it might have even been chanting “I think I can, I think I can”. 🙂

Oh that’s a shame Debbie. I love those plants too, I know exactly what it is, but I just can’t think of the name right now, it must be my old-heimers setting in again. It seems to do that a lot lately :O)
Thanks for the info on your camera. I have the Cannon Rebel xsi. I love it but I need to learn more about it. Are you using a certain lens, or the one that came with it? Geesh I ask a lot of questions, dont’ I?

I haven’t updated yet. Hopefully later on tonite. Looks like you need to try the apple cider vinegar on the eczema (?) anything is worth a shot. I know mine would flare up a lot when I was stressed. I changed my diet to an all natural diet and that helped too. No soda pops, etc. Also not a lot of meats. I haven’t ate red meat in over 20 years. Oh and it completely disappeared after I divorced my first husband LOL !

Most of my images are taken with my 55-250mm lens ~ it works well in almost any situation.

I have heard stress can cause eczema flare ups. I was thinking of trying the apple cider vinegar ~ I wasn’t so excited when I read the comments that said it really stung at first though. 🙂
