HI Debbie! I stopped in earlier but I couldn’t get into your blog for some reason. I’m so glad it’s all fixed now. Your photography just blows me away! You should be working for a magazine! They are really that good. I know I asked you one time what editing programs you use, and I think I remember you said Lightroom 3, maybe photoshop and I think there was something else. I bet you have one heck of a camera. And by the picture of the moon you captured you must have a great zoom lens. I have the Canon Rebel Xsi. I have yet to learn how to manually take photos, just not enough time right now, although I would love to learn. You need to get your buns down here for a visit sometime and teach me a few lessons lol.
Your blog is spectacular along with you too of course!
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful photos. I could look at them forever. They are so magical ! The header photo is so pretty too with the beautiful blue skies.
    Talk to you soon!

Thanks Sandy ~ I have noticed they seem to be doing quite a bit of maintenance on my host lately. I keep expecting an email telling me something new and wonderful is available. 🙂

My work flow starts with Lightroom 3….sometimes I may use Topaz if I’m looking for an added look….and then I finish in PSE7. Sometimes I will simply adjust the exposure or brightness in Lightroom, resize in PSE7 and that is it. Other times I may use presets in Lightroom and actions in PSE7. Depends on the mood I’m in. My header photo was taken at one of my favorite locations near my mom’s house….the boat docks. I have many, many photos of that location.

I was thinking it would be lovely if I could venture over your way next time I’m down in South Carolina. Never know….it could happen. 🙂

I know….the east coast does have some pretty amazing sunsets and sunrises. Sometimes I wish I could photograph wide open spaces like you see in the middle of the country and then I experience one of these and it makes me happy I live here. 🙂

Your photographs are really beautiful. I find it impossible to capture the true beauty of a lovely sky. We get lovely sunsets where I live but my photos never capture them adequately.
