Woo Hoo ~ I Won!
Last weekend I entered a contest sponsored by ColorInc Pro Lab…the prize was a Senior Posing Guide by Photography by Natalie B. Guess who won? 🙂
I have entered online contests before on some of the blogs I follow….many contests. So many I can’t give you a number….but this one, I won! Best part, it is something I really wanted. Along with the poses, you will notice there is a brief description of each pose and camera settings. Perfect!
There are 70 poses in the book…spiral bound and perfectly sized to take along with you to photo shoots. I didn’t have much hope in winning because, well…worst luck ever at winning things……but I decided to put my one comment on the blog and thought perhaps this time.
So this past Monday when I log in to Facebook during my lunch break and I see the announced winner along with their comment, I looked at it….and I looked again….and even one more time….It Was Me! I Won! Me, who never wins….I won something I really wanted and could really use. Let the happy dance begin ~ right there in the middle of my office with two other co-workers. They were worried…I was elated…cause I had won. It arrived today…there may or may not have been another happy dance. 🙂

Well done! It is always very exciting to win something and even better when it is something you know you will use. I love the descriptions under the photos. To know which arm or leg to have the person put their weight on will really help to recreate the pose. It is one thing to have an idea of a position to use but quite another to be able to verbalise it!
