The Gardens at Biltmore
A few images from the Walled Garden at the Biltmore House, Asheville, North Carolina. These were taken in the upper garden area which features the flowers. The shrub garden is located near the conservatory but was not in bloom during our visit in early April.
The photographs will show you a sample of the gardens but they barely do justice to the actual gardens which are quite breathtaking.
Looking towards the conservatory from the upper flower garden.

What unusual daffodils. Imagine the work that must go into keeping all those gardens looking so immaculate!

The gardens were quite immaculate and clean…and considering the number of visitors that go through there, it must be quite a task. They do an excellent job of it though! 🙂

The pics of the vines running through the whatever you call it…pergola?…looks mythical! I expect to see fairies dancing around at night!

I know!! The entire gardens had that feel, especially when you were walking through the forest paths with the little waterfalls and rustic wooden bridges. I could have spent an entire day roaming the grounds…easily! 🙂

Oh, I love these. Tulips, especially, make me so happy.

I know…I love tulips ~ and it appears to be the one flower I can’t seem to grow!
