A few more from the plane…

I know…get on to the good stuff….but first you have to tolerate a few more from the plane trip to Florida.  🙂  I enjoyed photographing from the plane this trip ~ probably because it was digital rather than film.  When I would travel during the days of film, I would snap a photograph here and there from the plane…but not too many because they were typically risky shots.  You were shooting through a fairly dirty window to begin with and the lighting can be tricky at times.  This time, I was digital and I could delete the ones that didn’t make the cut.  You can still see some window grime in some of these images, but these were some of my favorite from Atlanta to Melbourne, Florida.

If you have ever flown and connected in Atlanta, you know it isn’t a quick trip to the runway and take-off…there is always a line that seems endless at times.  Here is a shot of the plane in front of us taking off and the line behind us….and finally lift off for us.

Once we left the area we encountered heavy clouds and turbulence so the pilot took us higher.  This allowed for some wonderful views on occasion….

One of the things I really look forward to when I visit my parents is morning coffee with my dad…always ready when I get up in the morning too.

He makes a pretty good cup too!  🙂
