The Way It Should Be Done
Today we had a substantial rain storm right before it was time to go home. By the time I cleared my desk and quickly wrote a check for a bill I wanted to mail on the way home, it had slowed down quite a bit. While waiting at a light after leaving the Colonial Williamsburg post office, I observed an elderly couple walking up the street close by….maybe heading back to their hotel or motel. Outside My Window…is 57ºF on a beautiful Sunday evening. There is an amazing moon out tonight….huge….rising in the east and illuminating the neighborhood. Tonight will be clear but we have a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow evening. Our temperatures are going to climb back up to the high seventies and low eighty degree range until Friday when they will return to average temperatures of around 60ºF. Hopefully the low humidity will continue as well. I am thinking…and formulating some plans in my head. Too Precious
My oldest daughter was watching a friends baby boy today. I had taken the day off to take care of some personal business so she stopped by to visit. I think it was more so I could help with the baby actually…but that was alright, he is such a sweet baby with the biggest eyes! I couldn’t help but take a few photos of him. 🙂

Outside My Window ~ 10.18.10
Outside My Window…is a nice cool evening as the sun sets. The temperature is about 62ºF with a slight breeze. The day was lovely…sunshine…tonight they are forecasting clouds and a slight chance of rain in the next couple of days ~ very slight. I noticed on my way in to work today that you can see a subtle change in the color of the leaves. The image I’m using as my fall Outside My Window photograph was taken last October at Lake Matoaka ~ located on the campus of the College of William and Mary. I think I may have to take another walk around campus again soon to get some…

I Have Arrived
Earlier this week I participated in a photography assignment on The Pioneer Woman’s blog. She posted a photograph of her brother-in-law on horseback and asked that we edit it any way we wanted. When she has an assignment she will pick her favorites and at the end award a grand prize as well as runner up prizes….usually a generous gift card from B&H Photo online. Gift card = me buying some photo goodies that will make me smile. I have participated in a few of the past assignments and submitted a photo or two…but sadly my photos have never made the selected groups of photos for grand prize/runner up consideration.
