Something New
I was notified my Photography page on Facebook will have the timeline design by the end of March… …so I made a cover photograph this evening. The composite is going to take longer than I thought….a lot longer. 🙂 I will be able to interchange the images every so often. Here is a look at the cover photograph…. ….now go check out the page. 🙂

Outside My Window ~ 2.19.2012
Outside my window…is a fairly nasty day….cold, wet, wind. Currently at 3:00 p.m. we are at 39°F with sleet and 13mph winds from the north north-east….gusts up to 22mph. Our forecast is calling for rain/snow this evening and a low of 34°F. No one seems to know if we are going to get any type of accumulation from this storm ~ everyone has a different story to tell. I suppose these types of storms are hard to forecast, but “it may or may not snow”…really, I could tell you that. I actually wouldn’t mind a storm like we had in the photograph above…the day after Christmas in 2010….snow everywhere with…

Working
I have spent most of the afternoon working on different things. The morning was shot for the most part after I woke up about 3:00 a.m. with a migraine…at the time it felt like a world ending one too. Medication was taken and to ensure total darkness my lavender/calendula eye pillow was placed over my eyes as I waited for it to pass…which it did….and the world didn’t end. 🙂 After one of these, my day is generally low key. One of the things I have been working on today are pages for my often neglected Facebook page for Magikal Folk Photography. If you click over for a visit, please…

Outside My Window ~ 12.18.2011
Outside my window…is nightfall in Hampton Roads. We are currently at 31°F with clear skies…forecast low is 30°F. Cold. Tomorrow is another story with a forecast high of 56°F and sunshine but it will get cold again tomorrow evening. There is no snow in the forecast…chance of rain on Christmas day, but no snow. It appears as if we are not the only ones who won’t have a white Christmas. So maybe the mountains of snow received last year were actually some of this years snow? Would seem so…places that usually have received quite a bit by this time of the season have received only a trace so far this…

Outside My Window ~ 2.6.11
Outside My Window…is another gorgeous Sunday morning. We have blue skies, sunshine and 45°F at 11:15 a.m.. Our high today won’t be much warmer than it is right now…a little chilly but hovering around our average temperature and it doesn’t feel too bad in the sunshine. We did have quite a bit of rain yesterday morning ~ key word, rain. We have been fortunate to miss the ice and snow everyone else seems to be getting but there is a chance of snow this coming Thursday. That is several days off so I won’t be worrying about it for a few days. I am thinking…about all the things I would like…
