Outside My Window ~ 8.5.2012
Outside my window…is sunshine, blue skies, white puffy clouds and a lot of humidity and heat. A lot. Currently at nearly 1:00 p.m we are at 88°F with about 59% humidity. It feels like 95°F outside right now….I would say that is about right. Our forecast high temperature for today is 89°F with an isolated chance of thunderstorms. There is a light breeze currently blowing but it is not cooling things off all that much. Tomorrow will be about as warm with a greater chance of thunderstorms and then we will cool off to the low 80’s for a few days. I am thinking about…how once upon a time I…

Outside my window…Sunday night….end of the weekend….where did the time go? The weekend was filled with some wild weather, work and relaxing in between learning. Friday night came upon us with rumbling thunder, wild and wicked lightening, wind and torrential rains. The weather forecasters had predicted strong storms but I haven’t seen lightening like that in quite some time. It was lighting up the neighborhood….explosions of light that made me nervous each and every time they popped. The storms lasted well into the night. Another Free Desktop Calendar For April
I decided I needed another free desktop calendar…one with a more masculine theme and what is more masculine than creatures. Free Texture
I was feeling a little uninspired this evening…not so much to say I suppose. I was out shooting one afternoon and shot some texture images…this is one….. I used it on this image….a black walnut a squirrel had snacked on… ….and here is an after image….blending mode was soft light…. Subtle at this blending mode…but it gives you an idea of what it will do. You can get your texture here. It is a large 300dpi file ~ 3600 x 2500 ~ so it may take a few minutes to open up. Once completely opened, right click on the image and “save image as” on your computer. The watermark will…
