Outside My Window ~ 5.12.2013
Outside my window…is the closing hours of Mother’s Day 2013. What began as a rainy morning turned into an amazing day with sunshine, blue skies and fabulous temperatures. Our high today was 75°F and a forecast low tonight of 50°F…beautiful! Unfortunately I didn’t get anything finished in the flower bed as I had planned today….the ground was pretty wet from the rain last night and this morning. I couldn’t help but notice on my walks this weekend how lush and green everything is…just the way I like it. Our temperatures will stay in the upper 60’s for highs and a forecast low of 45°F on Monday and 54°F on Tuesday. Wednesday will see the temps…

Outside My Window ~ 5.8.11
Outside My Window…right now, at 6:31 p.m, we have mostly sunny skies and 66°F. Our forecast today was for occasional rain showers and a high of 71°F. The chance for rain was less than 50% and it appears we had that very early this morning. The wind is light…branches are gently swaying in the breeze now and then…but it is not enough to cause my wind chimes to sing to me. Our temperatures will hover in the mid to low 70 range all this week. This is typical weather in my area for this time of year. It generally cools off and stays this way around Mother’s Day and a few days following. …

Outside My Window…is a fabulous Mother’s Day! There are blue skies, a few puffy white clouds here and there, a slight breeze and a temperature of 64º F at 12:26 p.m.. It is beautiful….perfect. 🙂 I am thinking…about all the outside chores I will be doing today. Number one is I’m gong to be preparing my area for the new rain barrel. I’m also thinking sawing my metal downspout so I may put the rain barrel beneath it is going to be skin crawling. I have to use a hacksaw and I can hear it now….it won’t be a pleasant sound I’m sure. I am thankful for…many things at the moment. …

Outside My Window…a beautiful morning……66 degrees outside right now, partly sunny skies and a light breeze. We had rain almost every evening this past week so everything looks so clean and green. I love this time of year when everything is blooming and green after a winter of naked trees and barren gardens. I am thinking…about the photos I would like to add to my Flickr photo stream. I haven’t added any since last week, but I have plenty to add. Finding the time is the issue……..hmmm, could be something I could do today perhaps. Check out that site, as well as the blog……..I have been putting this on there…
