    Outside my window…is the close of another weekend….the weekend before Thanksgiving. You wouldn’t know it was this late in November if you were to judge by the weather alone.  Today was beautiful….71°F with sunshine and blue skies.  We are currently at 64°F at 9:30 this evening with a chance for rain later tonight through Wednesday…..a small chance.  Of course I have seen some pretty hard rains when we had a small chance for rain so I guess we will have to wait and see what comes.  Thanksgiving day is forecast to be sunny with highs in the mid 50’s. I am thinking about…my list of things to pick up and…

    Outside My Window…is another beautiful day in the neighborhood.  🙂  At 12:20 p.m., we have already hit our forecast high temperature of 62°F with a light wind, sunshine and blue skies.  Forecast today is for the temperature to drop down to about 55°F  by six with mid to low 40’s tonight.  For the rest of the week, very nice until Thursday when they are predicting a few showers.  Folks waiting in line at the ungodly hours that stores open on black Friday may get wet with showers and wind forecast for that day.  I will not be shopping on Friday although I may take my oldest daughter in to work again. …

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    At this time of year, I always remember the words from a song……… “Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother’s House we go…….” I can’t recall the title…..but the words always run through my head when Thanksgiving rolls around for some reason……… “The horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh………” There is also something else I remember when Thanksgiving rolls around……one of my favorite quotes regarding Thanksgiving…….     Outside My Window…is a beautiful morning.  At 10:00 am, we are at 56F with 79% humidity, sunshine, blue skies with a few white fluffy clouds here and there.  Very nice indeed.  I was out and about early this morning to work in my side yard gathering up leaves and pulling some weeds.  I finally got my daisy gardenia transplanted as well.  I will miss it on my front porch.  While it was in bloom, each time I walked in and out the door I was able to enjoy the wonderful aroma.  It stated on the information tag that  it was suited for pots, I’m thinking not so much.  I’m hoping it does…
