Outside My Window ~ 8.11.2013
Outside my window…are the gathering storm clouds. They have actually been gathering since about 7:30 this morning. There was sunshine while I walked Turbo but the clouds were beginning to build and gather. There are mostly cloudy skies with a temperature of 83°F. Factor in the 71% humidity and it feels like 88°F. Our forecast high for today is 85°F. Fortunately there is a small breeze that makes it a bit more bearable outside. We have a 60% chance of thunderstorms beginning around sunset tonight and lasting throughout the evening. It is one of those days that seems like the air is simmering until it finally must rain. Things that made me smile this week…
My favorite vacation spot…. …with my family… …coffee and breakfast with my dad each morning… …taking time to smell the flowers… …push-up lovin’ lizards… …more of these beautiful birds than you could count visiting with us each day… …good times and wonderful memories… Thanks for having us Papa & Nina… we miss you already!

Outside My Window ~ 6.6.10
Outside My Window…is unbelievably hot and sunny! When I walked outside early this morning I couldn’t believe how hot it was. Currently it is 86ºF but feels like 93ºF with 64% humidity at 11:00 this morning. Our high today is suppose to reach 95ºF. I’m not surprised we have a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening….I will be surprised if nothing materializes because it feels quite tropical outside. I also noticed our area is a 3 on the Weather Channel TorCon index….so that means we have a 30% chance of a tornado in this area. Fortunately, they are not the norm for us. I am thinking…how many more critters am I…

A Run Through The Neighborhood….
One of the nice things about running through your neighborhood is the sites you see……the different flowers, different wildlife, different ways people landscape their yards, and of course the people. There is a couple (he is a massage therapist and personal trainer, she is a teacher) that gets up early and run….some mornings they are sitting on their porch enjoying a beverage afterwards and are always quick to shout “hello, how are you” and “you’re looking good, keep up the great work” as I run past. A little encouragement never hurt anyone! During my run this morning, I was thinking about what kind of post I could do today….and I thought why not…
