Outside My Window…is a beautiful, cool morning. At 10:45 we have blue skies, sunshine, 58ºF with calm winds. Our forecast high for the day is 63ºF and clear skies….doesn’t get too much better than this folks. Simply beautiful! This is the time of year I love temperature wise…the nights are cool and the days are mild. I like cool nights because I like snuggling down under the covers when I sleep…and I can do that now that the horrendous night sweats have left the building. Outside My Window…is blue skies and sunshine ~ a beautiful day in the neighborhood albeit a windy one. The temperature at 11:00 a.m. is 49ºF with winds at about 17mph, gusting up to 25mph which makes it feel like 43ºF outside. A bit nippy for sure! This may be our coldest day yet this season. Our forecast high is 53ºF with windy conditions expected all day long and a low tonight of 36ºF. We are a little below our average with these temperatures. Outside My Window…are howling winds….rain….ghosts….goblins. 🙂 Kidding…..couldn’t resist. Yea, my kids tell me all the time I’m not right. We actually have a gorgeous morning. The temperature at 11:47 a.m. is 64ºF, sunshine, blue skies with some high clouds painted across the sky…not enough to diminish the sunshine though. Our forecast high is 68ºF for today with a low of 45ºF for this evening. Sounds like the kiddos trick or treating tonight may need jackets or warm clothing under the costumes. Outside My Window…is a nice cool evening as the sun sets. The temperature is about 62ºF with a slight breeze. The day was lovely…sunshine…tonight they are forecasting clouds and a slight chance of rain in the next couple of days ~ very slight. I noticed on my way in to work today that you can see a subtle change in the color of the leaves. Outside My Window…is a beautiful afternoon. Currently at 2:45 p.m. EDT, there are blue skies, sunshine, a slight breeze and 82ºF. Yes….82ºF. Tomorrows forecast is 89ºF with sunshine, blue skies and a slight breeze….as all the days will until Thursday when it will go down into the 70’s. Come back Fall…I like that transition period between summer and winter when the weather cools down to just right and the nights are a bit chilly….excellent for sleeping. Outside My Window…is cloudy, wet and cool. We are currently at 63ºF at 7:00 this evening. The temperature hasn’t varied too much today from our current temp….there has been light rain falling all day on and off. This is my definition of typical fall weather. The trees in my neighborhood are beginning to turn ~ especially the dogwood trees. Rain is forecast for Monday with it clearing off in the evening. Our temperatures are going to stay in the mid sixties to seventy degrees during the day and lows in the mid to upper 50’s in the evenings this week. I’m not complaining…just wish the earlier storm hadn’t revealed the roof leak again. …

Outside My Window…right now it is 74ºF with cloud cover, a chance of thunderstorms this evening ~ and I have been told it feels cool in the house. Sweet! We actually had moisture fall from the sky last night….I believe it is called rain? You know I exaggerate a bit but it has been forever since we have had rain puddles around my house. Outside My Window…is a beautiful morning…again. At 11:15, the temperature is 75ºF with blue skies and sunshine….again. Our forecast high today is 83ºF with sunshine all day long….zero chance of rain….again. I’m sure those of you have have experienced a wet summer, or even a different season, have a hard time understanding how very tired I am of the heat and lack of rain. Outside My Window…is cloudy with fog and light rain ~ about 70ºF at 5:47 p.m. ~ it has been cloudy, cool and rainy all day ~ fabulous! Believe it or not, I’m not being sarcastic either….as far as I am concerned this cool, gray, rainy day is just what I ordered. Outside My Window…is a beautiful morning. There is a light breeze….blue skies with an occasional touch of white, wispy clouds painted across the sky. Our temperature is currently 78ºF at noon with a forecast high of 82ºF for the day. Just beautiful! Yesterday was pretty much the same, except no clouds and a bit more wind than today. Funny how after a hurricane passes through, you always seem to end up with these beautiful days….almost as if it has sucked all the humidity and cloud cover from the area as it exits.
